Professionally, I have spent my 25 years of teaching in primary and middle schools as a specialist music teacher. I have been privately teaching piano throughout my teaching career. I consider it to be very rewarding and feel that each pupil offers another opportunity to share a teaching and learning experience in a subject I am passionate about. I have a current enhanced CRB and lessons are provided in a dedicated piano teaching room with waiting facilities for parents if required.

"Dawn has been teaching for 24 years, more than half of which has been leading music in Primary and Middle Schools as a specialist music teacher and creative arts leader. She studied at Bath College Of Higher Education with the BA music undergraduates, piano for her major and voice second; performing in Bath Abbey, college opera, choirs and recitals. Alongside her teaching at schools in the Midlands and London, she has played piano, keyboard, bass guitar and accordion in various contexts; pop duo club circuit, gypsy jazz restaurant and music festivals. Dawn has been musically directing throughout her teaching career with youth Working with BANOS over the last year (playing keyboard for Annie in May 2017 and as Musical Director for Broadway Blackout last November), Dawn has met some wonderful people and made many new friends. She feels that she has developed her skills as musical director and has had a lot of fun working with the society." - BANOS Musical Theatre
